There is significant risk in using rental agreements with illegal provisions. In 2001 the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled in Baierl v. McTaggart
that leases containing such illegal provisions are unenforceable by the
landlord, however the tenant my enforce those provisions they so
desire.
